How do I take a bet that somebody else has created?

To take a bet that is still open, select the Bet Fun Tokens or Post Reply buttons that are listed after the bet description.

After selecting one of the options above, simply enter the amount you are willing to offer for the bet and any questions or comments you may have.

If your bet is accepted, you will be sent an email to confirm.

Your opponent will be sent a notification so that they can decide to either accept or decline your offer.

You can withdraw your offer at any time until your opponent has accepted it.

If people like your challenge, other members will start to make offers. As the author of the bet, you are given the ability to either accept or decline every offer.

Before you do, be sure to look at their credentials. For example, in the following offer, the offer is coming from a member who has two unresolved refusals to pay.

If the terms of the bet are unclear, you can click a reply button and ask for clarification. You can also make comments just for the fun of it.

What are Member Credentials?

Every member has a Member Credentials Page containing statistics and feedback from other members. By looking at a member’s Credential Page, you can get an understanding of the integrity of the potential opponent. The Member’s Credentials shows their track record of activity including, payment (or non-payment) history, winning & losing statistics, the number of disputed bets as well as their overall feedback ratings from prior opponents.

Click the Bet Against button and enter the amount you want to bet. If your bet is accepted, you will be sent an email to confirm.
