• uBetWHAT?! does not create any bets. Bets are ONLY created by members.

• Members may post bets on almost any subject as long as it is legal and fits within our Terms of Service.

• You can post a bet on almost anything and everything you want to.If you think there is enough interest, post the bet.

• Fun Bets
  
  
  • Play for "Fun-Tokens" instead of cash.
  • Fun-Tokens have no value.
  • You can offer Fun-Tokens against any bet, and you win Fun-Tokens in return.

• Talk Topics

  • Talk Topics are just like regular message board or blog topics.
  • You don't offer any Fun Tokens... and you don't have to bet on anything.
    • It's just a great way to start a conversation.

Describe the bet and determine the closing date for taking bets:

• Members are allowed to bet against you up until the specified date. However, as the originator of the bet, you can close it at any time.

  

• In each case, you describe the premise of your bet, including any dates and information to clarify the terms of your bet.

The details must be very specific to avoid an ambiguous interpretation.

For example:
I bet it will rain in New York City on January 13^th, 2003 at 12Noon, EST

Describe the Payoff Terms and Category

• At the bottom of the screen, enter the payoff terms for your bet.

• If you do not want even odds, you can check off the "Change Odds" box, and enter any payoff amount you would like.

  
  

Making an offer for an EXISTING bet:

• Click on the Bet Fun-Tokens button.

• Fill out the screen to make your offer.

• If you don't want to bet, you can click on the Post Reply button and leave a comment.
